A TYPICAL DAY AS A TURBOCHARGER TECH

In this role, you will start out disassembling turbochargers and learning the associated parts and components.

Any tools needed will be provided and you will receive detailed instructions on the process.

You will be at an individual work station or work bench within the shop, on the production line.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS & COMPENSATION:

  • This position is Full-Time
  • Compensation is $13-15 per hour to start
  • Benefits apply after 120 days

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Perform repetitive hand movements
  • Ability to lift 50lbs-60lbs
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours

Manufacturing Engineer


Job Purpose:

Turbo Solutions is currently seeking a talented, driven, ambitious and hands on Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is an opportunity to join an exciting organization with ability to grow your career. Position will develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements and standards for manufacturing Turbochargers. This position will serve as the primary QA resource to department management for issue identification, resolution, non-conformance, and continuous improvement. The Engineer will design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection, organize and conduct complaint investigations and assist with validation. You will play an active role in problem-solving initiatives to address customer or quality issues and the actively drive efforts to determine and implement correct and preventive action.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineer or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years related experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Microsoft Navision a plus or other supply chain ERP system
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player and willing to work together to achieve company goals
  • Reliability required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; soliciting observations from operators;
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment;
  • Provide support to production and troubleshoot quality issues and meet all production commitments;
  • Identify and initiate process changes to improve safety and efficiency;
  • Update and maintain procedures for existing processes and write procedures for new processes;
  • Completes validation and monitoring of process data;
  • Supports supplier quality assurance activities;
  • Provides both internal and external audits;
  • Supports day-to-day manufacturing as it relates to inspection;
  • Apply the following values: Continuous Improvement, 5S, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, ISO, and other related tools;
  • Special projects upon request
  • Root Cause Analysis of Customer Failures and Complaints;

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Sell Turbochargers via telephone
  • Part number look-up
  • Assist with placement of orders and product information
  • Develop relationships with Customer Base
  • Inform Customers of specials and promotions
  • Utilize computer technology to identify products

Knowledge:

  • Diesel Engine (Particularly with Cummins)
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

This is full-time positions – 40 hours a week

Production Manager


Job Purpose:

Turbo Solutions is currently seeking a hands-on, goal driven person who will be working with the Senior Management Team to develop, set the pace and implement business improvement strategy, culture, people and processes. This person will outline direction and deployment of the Lean framework to ensure consistent and rigorous application producing improvement of production and quality benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • 10 plus years related experience
  • Lean, BIQ, ISO based experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills as well as communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Microsoft Navision a plus or other supply chain ERP system
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Must be a team player and willing to work together to achieve company goals
  • Reliability required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managing the overall Reman production activities
  • Develop and Manage operational KPI and CPU Metrics
  • Improve product quality with documentation, communication and coaching on the shop floor
  • Apply the following values: Continuous Improvement, 5S, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, BIQ, Kaizen, ISO, and other related tools.
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout;
  • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimates future requirements;
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; requesting special services;
  • Inventory Management;
  • Enforcing all safety policies on the production floor
